- TV 3.0 creates a global LCEVC opportunity: Brazil’s DTV+ rollout is driving LCEVC into silicon, TVs and set-top box platforms that can be deployed worldwide, opening opportunities across the wider video ecosystem.
- Visual AI moves into the workflow: V-Nova showcases AI-native live production, content analysis and AI training with swXtch.io, the DAZN-led IBC Accelerator program and NVIDIA NeMo Curator.
- Immersive moves from creation to cloud delivery: V-Nova PresenZ creates cinematic-quality immersive experiences, while ImmersiX, NVIDIA CloudXR and GDN enable those experiences to be streamed from cloud GPUs to standalone devices.
London, UK – 7 September 2026 – V-Nova will showcase three major developments at IBC 2026: Brazil’s DTV+ rollout is driving MPEG-5 LCEVC into globally deployable device platforms; Visual AI technologies are moving into live production, content understanding and AI training workflows; and V-Nova PresenZ immersive experiences can now be delivered from the cloud to standalone devices, with ImmersiX already available to consumers on Apple Vision Pro.
“What we are showing at IBC is technology turning into real opportunity,” said Guido Meardi, CEO of V-Nova. “TV 3.0 is creating a global opportunity for LCEVC. Visual AI is moving into real workflows. And with V-Nova PresenZ and ImmersiX, cinematic immersive experiences can now reach consumers from the cloud. These are significant shifts, and they are happening now.”
DTV+ (TV 3.0) is live. What happens next?
What Brazil is putting into devices today can rapidly become available to video services worldwide. As manufacturers add LCEVC to silicon, TVs and set-top boxes for Brazil, that capability is entering product platforms that can also be deployed elsewhere, opening opportunities for broadcasters, pay TV operators and streaming services worldwide. Because LCEVC enhances H.264/AVC, HEVC, AV1 and VVC, services can improve quality and efficiency across codec standards without requiring a wholesale migration for each advance. V-Nova’s licensing programs provide predictable routes as those opportunities expand.
At IBC2026, V-Nova will bring this growing LCEVC ecosystem together. Ateme will demonstrate bandwidth-efficient live video powered by TITAN Live with LCEVC, alongside DTV+ set-top boxes and LCEVC integration across widely used open-source projects. LCEVC will also feature in the NETINT VPU Ecosystem booth, showing how NETINT VPUs combined with LCEVC can improve bitrate and energy efficiency for OTT, user-generated content and live streaming services.
Visual AI goes live
AI doesn’t always need more visual data. It needs the right visual data, quickly. At IBC, V-Nova will show how its technologies can optimize visual data for different AI workflows, from live production and content understanding to data curation and training.
Together with swXtch.io, V-Nova will present an AI-native live production architecture using SMPTE VC-6, allowing multiple AI models to access the frames, resolutions and regions they need from a single structured stream. The collaboration also extends to Ground SwXtch for more bandwidth-efficient ST 2110 workflows between facilities and the cloud.
V-Nova will also showcase its work within DAZN’s IBC Accelerator project, AI-Powered Delta Streaming: Live Media Reinvented, using real-time content analysis and tagging to enable richer video understanding and hyper-personalized experiences, with VC-6 acting as an efficiency engine behind the AI workflow.
For AI data curation and training, V-Nova will demonstrate VC-6 and LCEVC with NVIDIA NeMo Curator, showing how different approaches to visual data can reduce unnecessary processing and accelerate AI multi-fold across large-scale dataset workflows.
Immersive entertainment goes cloud
IBC visitors will be able to step inside new cinematic immersive experiences with V-Nova PresenZ and ImmersiX. V-Nova PresenZ enables six degrees of freedom (6DoF), allowing viewers to move and change perspective with correct parallax and occlusion while retaining the quality, Digital Content Creation (DCC) pipelines and creative control of pre-rendered CG film, VFX and 3D reconstruction. Think Gaussian Splats, but at full cinematic quality, without the same compute constraints and with game-changing compression.
Cloud delivery has already moved from demonstration to consumer experience. ImmersiX is now available on Apple Vision Pro and will launch this Autumn in the Meta Horizon Store. Using NVIDIA CloudXR and NVIDIA Graphics Delivery Network (GDN), demanding rendering can run on cloud GPUs and stream to standalone devices without being constrained by their local processing power.
